Our Farms

Applecreek Manor is a long-established farm with orchards and gardens on hand-hewn terraces cleared generations ago. Located in the ‘banana belt’ of Humboldt near the confluence of the Main Stem and South Fork Eel Rivers, its mild summer weather makes for mellow blends of qualities in their cannabis. Applecreek Farms produce the popular Strains of  OGTaffi , Skywalker and our proprietary strain found only here at Teahouse the lovely Teddy Bear (pictured). Teddy Bear is an exclusive strain of original Kush from Afghanistan blended with Panamanian stock. Available only at Teahouse.

Sweet Memory Garden is on Humboldt’s Lost Coast where the King Range Mountains rise from the Pacific. It is a majestic place of stunning beauty, isolated, rugged, and inspiring.

Sour Pinky

Sour Pinky is creative, relaxing, appetite-stimulating and easy to sleep with. Musicians and writers long ago affectionately labeled this Humboldt heirloom strain “lady dope,” because it's mostly sativa, with cerebral and medicinal effects. It doesn't just overwhelm the body. We've protected her sativa qualities from strong indica influence by personal preference, while most growers until recently concentrated on strong body highs. Medical researchers suspect that more CBNs and CBDs naturally occur in sativa strains—but there's plenty of THC here too.

Located in the rugged watershed of a large tributary of the South Fork Eel River, Two Feather Farm looks out over layers of coastal mountain ranges and river valleys. One of the earliest southern Humboldt back-to-the-land homesteads, this farm focuses on cannabis that opens the mind to spiritual experience.  Seed stock is bred from favorite strains, some of them heirloom.

Dr. Feelgood	Dr. Feelgood is a blend of Afghani Kush indica strains and about 1/4 predominantly sativa Snow Cap, with peppery lemon fragrance. It's an excellent spiritual medicine.

Furry Freak Family Farm hunkers atop a glorious remote sunbaked ridge with commanding views of southern Humboldt county. Here two generations of cultivators have dedicated themselves to growing, producing and celebrating the finest strains of sinsemilla in the world. They take pride in our land ethic, working on water conservation and storage, habitat protection, and salmon stream rehabilitation.

Lost Coast Healing is a mother/daughter partnership centered on living in harmony with the environment and its abundant wildlife. Located on a ridge 1700 feet above the Sinkyone Wilderness overlooking the ocean, in the healing influence of the native people of the past and the clean ocean, this has been a site for personal and environmental healing. Plants tend to strengthen in the strong winds, producing strong, sticky resin during hot days—as do the native stinging nettles cultivated as companion plants.

Sour Tsunami	Sour Tsunami is a cross between Albion Sour Diesel and Tsunami. 90% Indica, it’s musky with sweet undertones. The parent plants tested at 11.3% CBD; current test results are pending. For those needing pain management without a euphoria or high. Developed by SoHum Seeds.

Full Circle Farm is a hillside meadow surrounded by forests with abundant wildlife. Fed by spring water and worked by hand, the garden produces beautiful veggies and sweet medicine. They work at best organic practices and on a good vibe you can enjoy in their medicine.

Blueberry Funny Farm is a small homestead in Redwood Creek where once heavily logged land is being restored to wildness. A place of brilliant morning sun that awakens the soul and cheers the spirits of the plants and wildlife, Blueberry Funny Farm is blessed with sweet pure water and fresh breezes from the ocean. The farmers at Blueberry are proud to be restoring the land and feel blessed to live and work in their special place.

Summer Quarter Farm is on the edge of a rare old-growth Douglas Fir grove, above the fog belt and consistently cooler than neighboring  microclimates. Native American artifacts abound on the narrow ridge, and this farm is completely off-grid, using only solar and micro-hydro power, without even a back-up generator. All of Summer Quarter’s strains are sativa/indica crosses, leaning toward sativa dominance for sweeter taste and clearer and milder effect on the body (particularly the throat).

Gypsy Pineapple	Gypsy Pineapple has pink hairs that turn strawberry blonde when cured. Flavors of pineapple and tropical flowers dance on the palate. The taste is similar to notable strains like Trainwreck, Pineapple Thai, and Jack Herer. Although sativa dominant, a throbbing body high can be felt directly behind the eyes. Appropriate for use during the afternoon or evening, it's a great strain for winding down after a long day. When the uplifting effects subside you're left feeling tranquil and relaxed. Gypsy Pineapple is delightfully potent and flavorful.
Hula Buddha	An upbeat, cerebral experience, Hula Buddha is perfect for daytime pain medication, physical motivation and stimulating creative juices. Purple Ally	Purple Ally is known to take on a purplish hue when temperatures drop. It is earthy and spicy on the inhale, with savory undertones of mint and grapefruit counteracting the thick smoke. Ideal for use in the morning or afternoon as it aids in appetite stimulation and anxiety suppression. Towards the end there are unexpected hints of blueberry syrup and jasmine. Purple Ally is a great way to start any day, especially with a large breakfast included.

Windhorse Gardens lie on a terraced ridgetop in the heart of the Lost Coast, under fluttering prayer flags and flying clouds. Just a mile from the breaking surf of the Pacific, this homestead is like an island in the sky, rising out of the dense temperate rainforest, bright and breezy above ocean fog. With abundant pure spring water from Pacific moisture, Windhorse Gardens has thrived for almost 30 years of off-grid organic living growing trees, shrubs, fruits, nuts, vegetables and herbs, including home-crafted cannabis.

Granny Derkle	Granny Derkle is a four-way cross between Purple Erkle, Grandaddy Purps, Purple Diesel and Sour Diesel. The fruity smell and taste are what discriminating smokers have come to expect from the finest purple kushes, with the addition of a solid diesel undertone that lingers on the palate. The effect is mostly felt in the body, but there's just enough sativa in there to keep you upbeat and motivated. The high is clear-headed and long-lasting. High CBD potential, test results pending.
Lost Coast Kush	Lost Coast Kush started out as Mazar-I-Sharif crossed with White Russian/Great White Shark. It was later crossed with OG Kush to create uniquely powerful mind/body effects.  Over time Lost Coast Kush has adapted to maritime weather conditions unlike classic Kush. The buds are visibly coated with long pearly white trichomes. The inhale is sweet, with a slight hint of sour on the exhale. It offers a very physical effect  that lightens into long lasting body relaxation. Lost Coast Kush is ideal for nighttime use, and is used for appetite stimulation and pain relief.
Rama Mama	This monster indica is a fruity/skunky treat that relaxes the body and eases anxiety. Rama Mama works well for pain management and is an ideal choice for insomniacs. Fawn Lily Farm rests in a sheltered watershed between the Mattole and Eel Rivers. Many kinds of culinary and medicinal plants are tended with love by the farmers, who harvest and cure their cannabis with gentle, attentive, and clean practices. They have bred their unique cannabis from Humboldt heirloom strains and perfected them over years of devoted growing. Fawn Lily cannabis has an unusually very pure and clean taste, with fruity smells edged with spice.

Tea House cannabis is grown with an attitude of gratitude. Originally called Thanksgiving House, the name was shortened to T-House and finally became Tea House. Nestled in a small watershed, Tea House is part of a cooperative land collective.

Blue Dream	A euphoric sativa-dominated high.  Pine and hash on the toke, followed by a long, mellow mind and body buzz.  Very dense, light-colored buds with an orange tint.  Recommended for nausea and pain relief.
Kush Train	Pure-indica Kush crossed with sativa-dominant Trainwreck for a strong stony high, very narcotic and long-lasting. Sweet, earthy musk flavor.
Sour Diesel	Sour Diesel, a sativa-dominant cross of Chemdawg and a mexican sativa, has a well-earned reputation for its unique smell, taste and soaring high. Its flavors are right there in its name: sour, citrus and the distinct smell and taste of diesel fuel. (It tastes much better than this description.) Sour Diesel is good daytime medicine: upbeat, cerebral and energetic, but with just enough indica to keep you on the ground. Kentucky Blue	This Indica was developed in the hills of Western Kentucky, where it was bred to be short and stout to keep it safe from prying eyes. The dense buds are covered in resin and the smoke is smooth and earthy. Kentucky Blue relaxes your body and frees your head to marvel at the wonders of nature.
Queen Kush	The first half hour of this tactile-enhancing high should be spent on a massage table or under the sheets with your honey. It just makes you feel good. Tri-cured for smoothness, this Indica hybrid won't have you coughin' when you should be kissin'. Spring-fed gravity flow water and full sun exposure allow for a zero sum of fossil fuel consumption in the production of this medicine. Black Afghani	Dark green buds with bits of purple. Fragrant, herbal, earthy complexity with spicy undertones. A very physically relaxing high, but leaves you feeling quite social.
Purple Monster	These two strong indica parents guarantee a tasty physical experience. Cotton Candy is a classic Kush and Purple Urkle is famous for its grapey flavors, so try this for end of the day elongation, because you won't go back to work. Long-lasting, great for insomnia, can be mentally stimulating. Indica-dominant cross of Purple Urkle and Cotton Candy.

Mineral Creek Botanicals is in a geographical transition zone between thickly wooded coastal mountains and eastern Humboldt’s open oak savannas. The elevation is also transitional, above the Eel River Valley’s summer fog, just at snow level in winter, with abundant late-summer sun that helps its strains achieve a strong finish. These intense medicines are grown with very little extra fertilizer, which lowers yield but concentrates potency, smell, and flavor, and eliminates run-off to local streams.

Bright Lights Kush	Bright Lights Kush is an indica-dominant cross between Blueberry and Pure Kush, which we named for a variety of chard with brightly-colored stems. This is simply one of the most beautiful plants we've ever seen, with its dark purple stems, magenta hairs and leaves covered in trichomes; it almost glows with a violet shimmer. Bright Lights Kush has a sweet taste with a rich, thick kush flavor underneath, and typical kush strength. Used for pain relief, tension relief and appetite stimulation.
Jack Frost	Jack Frost is a sativa cross of Jack Herer with Snowcap. The two parent strains are very similar, making this a natural choice for a hybrid. It has a sweet but powerful scent and a strong, peppy effect. It’s used as a seizure preventative by our grower member, and offers a mind and spirit lift that’s inspiring for making music.
PKX	PKX is Bright Lights Kush back-crossed to Pure Kush, making it a crystal-covered, almost 100% indica. Its smell and taste are mostly from the Pure Kush: earthy, coffee/cocoa and peppery, with a hint of Blueberry sweetness. It's a strong indica, with effects that come on slowly, leaving you relaxed and carefree. Not recommended for daytime medication.

Oasis Garden borders the Yurok reservation in Northern Humboldt. Oasis is still filled with the presence of the First People, and remains sacred ground treated with respect and care in cultivation.

Ciel is the French word for heaven. This homestead is located on a windswept meadow atop the watershed divide between the Eel and Mattole Rivers, and has breathtaking views of the Lost Coast. Their cannabis is grown and harvested according to the lunar seasons, beginning with the new moon in February and slowly ripened through fall’s harvest.

Cannatonic #13	Cannatonic is a high-CBD, low-THC strain perfect for those who want pain relief without stoniness. Cannatonic is a lemony, upbeat sativa that stops short of racy, providing a clear, energetic motivational push to get you through your day. The remarkably high CBD levels make this an ideal daytime medicine, leaving you clear-headed and focused.
Maui Wowie	A sativa-dominant heirloom strain, favored by those who suffer from such issues as migraines, and depression, Maui Wowie’s effects are upbeat without being jittery or energetic. Red-Haired Beauty	Red-Haired Beauty's Afghan heritage can be seen in her large, firm buds covered in orange hair, and in the mix of spicy and sweet flavors of cardoman and other exotic spices that linger on the palate long after exhaling. She's an heirloom local cross of the strains Big Bud and Skunk. These same seed strains were taken to Amsterdam and crossed there, to became famous as Critical Mass. Red-Haired Beauty comes on slowly, gradually easing pain, tension and anxiety. It's mentally stimulating, spurring creativity and easing the mind to wander to unexpected places.

Green Tara Medicinals is nestled into a majestic south-facing clearing high in the hills, surrounded by dense forest of oaks, firs, madrones and pines laced with creeks and a fishing pond. Long days of full hot sun evaporate morning ocean mist and keep the ladies happy. The land loves the garden and the garden loves the land and Green Tara’s farmers believe the powerful energy that exists here is a very substantial component to a truly healthy and therapeutic medicine. Living Waters began as a commune in the headwaters of the Mattole River, which wraps around the homestead and gardens set among giant redwood trees. Gardens fill the sunny spaces and the under the redwoods are yew, chinquapin, maple and alder trees, and huckleberries, blackberries and ferns. It’s a place of high humidity, cold nights and early frost where plants are fed homestead compost (with extra sprouted barley and old bananas) by the cycles of the moon under crystal-starry skies.

Purple Erkle

Purple Erkle is a local heirloom strain that has been grown in Humboldt for more than 20 years. Some old-timers might remember it as Purple Urple or Humboldt Purple, but whatever the name it is one of the strains that Humboldt growers made famous. This indica is noted for its grape, lavender and kush flavors and powerful sedative punch. It's more potent than it seems at first, so give it some time to kick in before re-medicating. Purple Erkle is used for pain relief, appetite stimulation and insomnia.

Graceful Gardens are in a sunny terraced bowl overlooking the South Fork Eel Valley’s old growth redwoods and restless fog. It’s surrounded by stunning views and wildflower-filled meadows that disappear into oak savanna interspersed with big old madrones. With warmer and drier days than many Humboldt homesteads, it’s nonetheless very breezy and cool at night. The long sunny days bring a rich fullness to their cannabis.

Blue Sky Farm is an idyllic setting for experimenting with breeding techniques in Humboldt's unique micro-climate. Applying science to coax the best out of nature, Blue Sky has been producing fabulous strains sure to please the most discerning connoisseur.

Cheesel	Cheesel, a cross of Cheese and Double Diesel x Skunk #1, is a well-balanced hybrid with a distinctive flavor and high. Cheese is famous for smelling and tasting a lot like its name: pungent, skunky and cheesy. This comes through loud and clear in Cheesel, with a subtle whiff of diesel on the exhale, adding to the complexity of this uniquely tasty strain. The effect is upbeat and energetic at first, spurring thought and creativity before tapering off into a relaxing body high. 60/40 indica/sativa.
Purple Cheesel	Combining the best traits of Cheese, Purple Urkle, and Sour Diesel, this cross brings a warm, melting high with a cheesy grape aroma and bell-like sativa clarity.
